HiThe brass swivel elbows on my reels are starting to leak Can the seals inside be replaced or is it a case of throw away and get new.Got them from Gardiners if that info helps.Can't see a way to take them apart.G.

Ours has lasted over 5 years so we can't complain. Also purchased from Gardiners.

Also purchased from Gardiners.They can be taken apart, if you look inside the park the screws on the reel, there is a large Allen head there in screw that and it will come apart. There is an o-ring inside that goes, but im not sure what size it is, but if you can replace that then you will stop it leaking. When you assemble it back together, you will need to put some loc-tite on the threads and make sure that the cutout in the thread is in the right position or it will restrict the water flow.
