Old people and wfp
« on: December 07, 2012, 10:33:08 am »
Tired today and looking forward to my birthday
Weekend!

Just had an old fella walk past me and as always
I say
" morning"
He say" that don't wok that pole thing"
( now normally I would try to educate and
Explain the system)

Today I'm not in the mood so my response was
"Wish you would of told me before I wasted 3k"

Not my finest hour of customer service

It been a long year  :'(

Christmas break can't come soon enough for me
1st bit of time of since last christmass
keep it simple

we worked till 1pm  , nobody would wear coats so all got soakd to the skin. we then headed to the bus diner TO WARM UP but the heating was just lukewarm. iv told the diner boss to  put fresh photos of the awful bus kitchen + staff fotos on his Doubledeck Diner facebook page(to drum up customers and also give a few laffs) and then he offered me his sons labour (at £5 a day) if id only take him away from scoffin .

Had an old boy yesterday complaining to me that my lad had wet everything he had stored under his windows, round the back, the last time we cleaned... he was genuinely annoyed and naturally I was concerned. I asked if anything had been damaged and what the items were that had been soaked. He was talking about his wheelie bin and a bench!! He got a little tongue tied when I asked what he did with them when it rained. Sometimes it's just impossible to bite your tongue. ???

When I first started WFP one of my customers said that I have been ripped off by whoever sold it to me... I simply packed up halfway through the job and drove off. I can't stand ignorance!

I actually swore at a customer (now ex customer) the other day. I was collecting from them afetr being asked to collect that day. This was after being asked to collect the same day the previous week and the week before, and it was for 2 months money.

She asked me to collect it the same day next week and I actually said, "No I fu***ng can't as I'm sick of you taking the p*ss out of me. You keep your blo**y money as you obviously can't afford a window cleaner."

That's the only time I've ever swore directly at a customer in over 20 years of doing this. Not good but she deserved it.
Come and talk dirty to us!!!

takes a bit to annoy me, but what does is folk who tell me I can't do something when I know I can, a few years ago I was walking across a cul-de-sac and I went between some parked cars, this old dear came over all angry and said you can't do that you must use the paths, I calmly said I just did, that went over her head and she said, no you can't if you do you will scratch the cars, I said "no I just did it and never scratched any car, so I can" she was raging by now and I was laughing away inside as she tried to tell me it was impossible to walk between the cars without scratching them, I calmly picked up my ladder walked between them again and back again and said go and check the cars, as I said I can and I did ;D then totaly blanked her as I carried on working as she told me she was phoning such and such,

me childish yes ;D ;D sometimes you just need to be

Getting a bit like that at the minute mate got a custy owes twice supposed to pay by bacs and was very keen to , Called at house the other night her and hubby swore blind that they had made 1 payment but had forgot to use address as a reference i said i would try and trace payment .

And told them to just pay the alleged 1 payment guess what they had not made a payment and still have not 5 days later .

Calling down today and they are going going to have to pay today one way or another . Mike
