Need some advice got a transit swb how long would it take to heat it up in the morning to defrost pipes I just bought s little heater than runs on butain the one for tents regards Jason

I am not able to take cables to van and don't fancy leaving gas heater on unattended for to long , was thinking heating up before I go but was wondering how long to heat up for

If its say -4 c I would say a few hours. Imagine 12 hrs at sub zero it is well frozen.
I had 500l rock solid with one nights frost.

far better off trying to keep the van just above zero if you can

if all else fails a heater like what wagon drivers use keep my truck very warm
