I've been just DI and worked out it costs me about 60p for a 25l barrel. I'm okay with that but I think I'm ready to add the ro now.

Sorry to hijack but if I connect my outside tap into the ro, do I then connect the outflow pipe to my Di vessel?  I ask as I thought the ro trickles out and the Di needs pressure, no?

It depends, you can connect it straight to your di vessel and have 100% pure water going into your tank or holding tank and then onto the van. Thats the way i do it but i also have another vessel in the van because i use twin di vessel's due lack of water pressure in my house and the ro only gets it down to 18, but thats another story.

or the other way is to from RO straight into tank then use a vessel in your van. you mention a barrels do you use a trolley? i imagine you would have to use a di stright after RO if u did.
Dave.

I run from tap straight to Di and Di straight into barrels.

Btw, I run a DIY pump box thingy from my car but can take it out and trolley a barrel if I choose to. Far better than lugging the old trolley in and out.
