Anyone who uses Gardiner's THERMOBORE can you please advise me how strong/stiff the hose is when hot?

I ask because im currently using an old reel of minibore which holds the heat well enough, but has elastic tendancies and im wondering if the thermobore is the same?

Also when using cold i have always been ok with cars running over the hose  as the hose still lasts 2 years plus (we must all have a few jobs were you have to run hose in the road?) , but due to the softer hose when hot, wheels spinning over it will surely chew it up.
So.... Is the thermobore stiffer? less elastic? and would you let a car run over it or is this now a massive no?

Well i`ve nearly ordered some as the spec(thicker walls)suggest it will be more resilient  and less heat loss.

as for the elastic tendancies, it depends how hot.
if your using warm to hotish water, just to clean windows the hose is nice and flexible & doesnt really stretch, but if your using really hot, to clean fascias/gutters etc, there will be some stretch.
saying that, its still fine.
as for being run over, ive been using my microbore, since its release about a year, with no problems at all, and it gets run over every week.

This is what im thinking but as i say the minibore im using holds the heat well enough its more the rigidity side of things that would convince me to let some moths out of my wallet.

yes, thermobre.
and yes run over using hot, well luke warm this time of year.
i dont think the hose has ever been run over when using really really hot water, but i think it would be ok.

I use thermabore, it is like cooked spaghetti when hot at 65 degrees the advantage is its will not burst as quick a the yellow stuff. The yellow hose will delaminate and make a bulge which will burst. So the walls for thermobore have a double reinforcement. The problem with with hot is the fitting are under pressure and if your hose expands to much you pressure switch will not work right or controller will no switch off and keep pumping hot water into the system and the hose will expand and burst. Or a fitting will fail. Hot systems have a hole new array of challenges. I seem to be coming to grips with these problems.I have found plastic hose lock fittings are not good with hot water so I have used brass as they do not distort and come loose sending hot water all over my van.I hope will help. I  also do not use the pole tap at end of a clean, but let the pressure out of the pole hose before packing up. Always see the pump is off because if the hose bursts the pump and  boiler will switch on.
