Say man A goes out and picks up £300 of work ... names . addresses .contact number ( These would be proper & honest details)
 
Then takes this to man B ( who wants work ) Can this be sold there & then ?

If so what would the value be ?

on average canvass work that I've had has a 50% drop off rate and a headache to boot
The rate canvassers normal pay employees is 1x and sell to you for 2x with no guarantees best to train your own and pay them a wage IMO

Its very true ian.if the works for you get your own people out canvassing.
You will get lots of messers.but soon as you get rid of the bad payers your work is good.you may only get 2 on a road but within 6 months can have 10 as people will ask you to do theres.

contracts help cut down on messers when canvassing I tested this myself I still lost a couple after second clean and over all lost about  25% I tied people in for min of 4 cleans or they paid a one off price for the first clean if cancelling before hand.

This worked a lot better none of the canvassing companies out there would use them this tells me they chance there arm a lot if the time hoping they will stick for a couple of cleans ( their liability )

Depends I would normally only pay 50% on what paid so £150 tops from me as you have to account for drop outs

I need something for my business and need to raise the money.
So i thought i could go out canvassing on my own and gain custom for a window cleaner thats why they would be proper & honest details 
I Know a few would say ...... go out and get the work and keep it yourself..
Im happy to sell the work straight on . As im in no rush . I have a 5 to 10 year plan ( if everything happen before its a bonus ) 
i would be thinking £300 gained - sell £600

 no matter what people say to you at the door it's all a load of crap until they prove it by sticking for more then a few cleans by you selling It 2x I know the window cleaner will have problems ,all you will be really selling is leads not brilliant customers who are going to be perfect and provide the window cleaner with a healthy income all these people are thinking about is getting there windows cleaned not all are looking forward to a regular clean what ever you say they will nod,sign,beg once its done its a 50-50 thing , considering first cleans are hard work , the cancelation paying 2x is a false economy especially on leads
