Can I just add to this.....................

I have seen the outstanding quality of these pens and have placed an initial order for 100.

They really are superb and I will be leaving them in place of a business card where I feel that it is appropriate.

Business cards get thrown away but pens get used!!

If you do nothing else but ask for a sample I strongly urge you to do so.

How much did it work out for each pen?

Different prices for different order amounts (as little as £1.49 per pen if I remember rightly). but very good value for money as they're Parker.

The best thing is to get the free sample and take it from there - I did and couldn't wait to order.

The pen quality is very good.

If you are in to giving away promo items theys are very good.

I would rather spend more on Leaflets

Promotional gifts should not to be compared to leaflets,leaflets are for attracting new customers, promotional gifts are for current customers as a thank you for their custom.
Gifts along with good workmanship and service are great for keeping the new customers.Believe me a well presented good quality little gift works wonders for repeat business and customer relationships.

My pens have been delivered today and they really are great.

I understand what you're saying about only using them to keep existing customers.......although I don't happen to agree.

Admittedly, I won't use them in every case in place of a business card but I will leave them in some cases to win new business.

Business cards (and your leaflets to some extent Ian) will probably be thrown away or lost. Believe me, no-one is going to throw this lovely pen away. They will use it all the time and it's got my company name and phone numbers on it.
