So yeah, that is very annoying when clients do that.

It rains all the time a lot  in Cornwall - so I'm quite lucky that most of my customers are both used to rain - and now to me cleaning in the rain.

I've got a few that I leave out if it's bad - can count them on one hand.

Today it was a clear blue sky - then next minute - grey cloud and torrential rain for 30 minutes - followed by clear sky again.  Still got my work done and home before dark.

Worst thing for me is starting work in the rain, especially as I have to walk past my coffee machine

Ive found that if you go out in the morning even when its hammering down it wont be like that for the whole day and you will get work done. I also tell al my customers that they can call me back to reclean any windows they are not happy with. Havent been called back yet.

I intend to start cleaning in the rain next year.
Up until now I didnt need to but after this year I have no choice.
Would like to know how often would you get negative comments from custys
and have you lost any because of it?

I was in St Austell on Saturday, as I often am, and have always noticed a definite split in the weather depending on whether or not you're East or West of Bodmin Moor.
East Devon was 9c at 9am and St Austell was 16c at 11am. Don't know about the rainfall but it does seem a fair bit warmer down there.
Very nice part of the world indeed.

lol....what I mean is when the ground is full of snow and cant get out of my street....it's very hilly here in wales

When I first started I asked a window cleaner did he work in the rain. He said "we work until we have had 3 people say no, and he said that they worked a full day as they did not get three people saying no".

So I have worked on the same advice.
