Hi

I vacuum quite a few gutters on houes and usually charge between £50-£60. I've got to price a warehouse on an industrialestate. How does everyone price these? Pric per per meter? What's the going rate on commercial jobs like this?

Anyone got any suggestions?

Per meter I charge 5 quid a meter.

I would charge more if the height was higher that 25 foot as less guys can help this customers. The equipment would cost more to service this height.

Look at the job and whats involved then quote a price that your happy to do it for simple

[concept]

If it is box guttering, be mindful as it is deeper than standard attachments will go, and quite often not been done often, if at all, so you will have a river of mud and plants in there.

Some jobs are easier from a boom or scissor.

you may need to price in waste removal too i.e a skip

unless you carry a waste carriers licence and can despose of materials yourself at waste site which you get charged by weight.

just going off gutters at my unit within a year they built up prob enuf to fill a small skip due to being box gutter

all good answers especially re waste as there could be a quite a bit - id certainly price it so that it was worthwhile as these type of jobs for me have always ended up being more time consuming than thought.
Dont think id touch any commercial for less than 100quid and would likely to agree of between 3-5 quid a metre depending on gutter system and how bad they are.

get ya ladders out take a look, Check were waste can be emptied and if you have to dispose yourself then price accordingly £100 seems way too low i charge standard houses £20 1st side then £15 any other so a commercial with big box gutters alot more.
