My drimaster upholstery has suddenly developed a really annoying problem, I have had the tool for about 6 years now and never really been any bother , now for some reason when the valve is turned off it is still spraying water  but only from a small section of the orifice, and when the valve is turned on to the correct setting the water can still be seen moving over the head but the area that is allowing water to flow becomes more like a direct jet  !!!
 Now i am guessing it is a valve problem, but can i hell as work out how you would get into the tool to see the valve.
 
Has any body had similar problems or know how to get into the valve ?

Undo it clean it out and then put it back together

 I have done all of that and do so on a regular basis , how ever getting at the actual valve seems to be impossible or am i missing some thing  ?

I have the DM 1 too and I can't get to look
at the jet to give it a once over.

Geoff have you opened the perspex viewing glass and removed the 2 screws and  water fall plate ?

 removed all the crap that builds up,

think ill take it along to M H allidays  one day next week , i,m sure he will find a way !!!!

YES mike,

I used multi wash to scubb in a stripper, then champion in the cimex  some good old fashioned mopping and it came up a treat .

He has even put a leaflet in his window foc

Well Paul,

basicly a case of having to take of the clear panel, take out the inner plate,  and undoing the joint from the line to what is basicly a small chamber , the chamber can then be removed , crap inside the chamber appears to have been the problem, now cleaning the chamber out itself is a task in itself , so a case of mike connecting his hand tool and directing the jet under high pressure into the fine slot and forcing out the bacl of chamber , if that makes sense!!!!   any way all sems fine now , and another fine mess Mike has got me out of
