Day to day working: http://www.scruffsstore.co.uk/scruffs-nitro-safety-trainer.html

Plus a pair of M&S 'house shoes' (that's a posh word for slippers) for quotes and stuff.

Aldi sell shoes that last about a month.

At £10 a pair  I can bin them, get a brand new pair and keep a Chinese child in work.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

Only last a month? What the **** are you doing to these shoes?

Or are you just growing out of them?

Karrimor trainers but they soon look worn out.
Think it's the pre spray that gets on them..
Crocs if need be for quotes and non cleaning areas.
Impossible done straight away, miracles can take a little longer.

i would guess your getting prespray on them regulary so the easy answer would be, wear a durable overshoe to protect your shoe and look a bit more professional, personally i wear a decent pair of trainers and get about 6 months to a year out of them, decent being around 30 to 40 quid but end of line so there not the latest but there still a good solid trainer. hope this helps.

I only ever wear hiking shoes, merrels or salomon etc, they really are the comfiest I've found, get them on offer from blacks or go outdoors and you'll only pay about £40, they last forever, I don't ever go in a house without shoe covers on.

derek wears his trainers to match his 2 stripe traccy bottoms shell suit  ;)

A lot of carpet cleaners had to find new uniform suppliers when JJB went bust.
It's not expensive, you just can't afford it.

I have been buying these for the last few years ........ lasting 6 months minimum, before they look scruffy. Getting sprayed with all my solutions, does not seem to damage them and they are the comfiest trainers I have ever worn straight from the box !!

Grisport  Exmoor  or Cumbria  , excellent quality waterproofs without looking like a hiking boot ...

I'll use boots in winter but look a plank with boots and shorts in summer, best thing about using hiking shoes/boots is when they are too battered for working in they are perfect for the hills  ;D
