Hi Folks,
Hoping for some help here. We have a Prochem Trailblazer with an unusual problem - It's spitting dirty water and white spray/steam from the waste tank out of the front exhaust whilst in operation. Has anyone experienced this before? The air filter and waste tank filter are being kept clean but water is still pooling in the air-filter compartment at the top of the waste tank.

Sounds like you've got a leak in a heat exchanger.

You say theres water in the tray under the filter that protects the vacuum blower......ok, so remove the filter and drill 3 or 4 holes in the tray so that any water that collects there can drain away. 

Have you made sure the waste tank is not over filling?

Another thing you could try is this.......To test the heat exchanger remove the waste tank lid, run the machine for 5 - 10 minutes......is water still coming out the front exhaust?  If no then the vacuum heat exchanger is ok.  If yes then its likely the vacuum blower exchanger has burst.  This exchanger is like a small radiator, disconnect the 2 hoses from the exchanger and join them together.  This will solve the water from exhaust problem.  You may be able to get the exchanger repaired at a radiator shop.  We ran small Prochem units with this exchanger bypassed for years, yes slightly lower water temps but still usable.

Hi Richie, sorry we didn't let you know before but it's been a bit manic all of a sudden and also having trouble with the vans. In the end we realised it was a split in the waste pipe (doh, should have seen it), but we're really grateful for your input.
