Pre Spray pressurised Bottles
« on: November 07, 2012, 10:52:28 pm »
So being new to the industry I am still in the process of getting all the equipment. I am looking at pre spray bottles but what I cant seem to see is what the difference is between a carpet cleaner pre spray bottle and one of the various unbranded bottles available online (im guessing for garden chemical use).

So considering the garden ones can be brought for £15 and the carpet cleaner ones are around £60 whats the difference? Can a gardening one be used or is this a no go?

Thanks

What's the difference? Quite a lot really and I think you'll even find £60 is possibly too cheap.
Volume of solution held, heat retention, seals that can deal with the various products, spray patten, decent pressure, doesn't fall apart after 3 usages..... there's your first 6 reasons

Viton seals are the main reason imo.

I use the 5 litre garden sprayers from B&Q and find them fine, the nozzles are adjustable. They are designed for various garden chemicals so I cant see why they cant be used for CC chemicals.
I think they are about £20
Ive bought sprayers from CC suppliers that although not top range, they were far more expensive and lasted only months.

that stainless steel one looks good for the money
no way of seeing how much chemical in the tank, could be a bit of a pain?
