I have read the site but more Q.
Do you need other bits to conect it all togther,if so what are they?

As it reads to me  You have the pole how does the hose pipe fit to the pole?
and how does the brush fit to the pole?
The RO DI system does this come with all the bits and bobs to fit it to the mains or do you need more.
Does the water go up inside all the poles?

Sorry if silly Q. but i need to get it all soon.

thanks

Martin

Its simple when you have all the bits and using them but can we all remember the early days and trying to figure out what an ro unit is and a di unit.
I do believe that without Matts site I would still be in that position.
Cheers Matt

Sorry Martin I forgot to mention that Matt was the creator of the site that Tosh and Gaz have given you a link to. Everything is there. When I built my system I just contacted the companies on that site to send me the connections i.e from tank to pump to pole to brush head. You are better off ringing them and just saying what you need and they will let you know all that is needed, they are all very helpful esp cleantech.

Whats the sort of time scale on P&P ,is it long,
Can't make my mind up over what type of trolly to use. I ve seen one up B&Q
thats 4 wheels but looks a bit on the big size!! But saying that i think i can do alot with it,other option is sack truck,,
Ideas still welcome

Think sack truck would be better. Get one with fold down handle for better storage in van/car

Hi Martin
Most my stuff came from cleantech and if ordered I think before 3pm then it reaches you the next day(in most cases) The other companies also do the same service. They are all helpful its just that I used 1 mainly. I use a sack barrel because its easy to fit in the car mine being an estate and it allows room for the 25l water containers. I havent a picture of mine but on this site many are going the sack barrel way and there are a few pictures floating around of systems just built.
Time wise to build with everything there, a matter a hours it all depends on how you personaly want to set it up because its got to work for you.
Filteration system is simple plumbing it couldnt be easier you just got to sort out where you want to put it.
Hope this helps.
A lot of us on this site have built our own systems so you would get an answer to any question even if it does seem simple.

Hi all, i have now found a good sack truck with fold down handle, but would this prevent me from attatching hose reel and power supply and stuff.

At the risk of sounding a snob i would not be seen dead with a sack truck for window cleaning.

I would be to embarrassed to use it.

If i was in the market i would pay a £1000 and get a purefreedompole  trolley and use it as a van mount off a big tank until i needed it.

http://www.freedomwfp.co.uk/

Or i would get an omnitrolley i think about £500 from omnipole and buy the neccessary  pole.

http://www.omnipole.com/omnitrolley.htm

Its not a lot of money and it looks so much more proffessional.

Quick duck    ;D

I'm sorry but i don't like the look of the one for £525.00
Where do you put the hose reel and stuff there's no room for much or have i got it wrong?
But i do agree with you if it's not done well it's not a good thing.
One Q. when connecting the pole to the micro hose can someone tell me what fitings i need or a list would be very nice.
I have got the idea now just need a little more info and it will all be orderd tonight ;D
Thanks all

martin
