I have had a lot who say they want you to come monthly and once the have a cheap price they cancel and you know you have done a good job,OR THEN WANT A 3 MONTHLY OR WHEN THEY PHONE FOR THE NEXT CLEAN. When i am out canvassing. Sorry for upper case.

I never lower my first clean price, if they want a regular cleaner then they will pay if they are unhappy paying this extra, then they can get another cleaner, and if they don't like him and want me then they still have to pay me my 1st clean price which is more than a regular one

I ask initially what they want are you requiring a regular service or a one off clean. a lot of one off seem to be coming through lately.

I also have people emailing and asking the price you charge and when you explain that you need to see the windows never hear from them again lol.. you can tell straight away they don't want to speak to you personally because they are after a cheap price.. you may not be cheap harder to say no.

I ask immediately, casual like, do you just want a one off? ......then they will say yes, or no,then I charge double for a one off.
If regular, I say price subject to a minimum commitment of 3 cleams.
If I think it's a dodgy one, I will charge double for first clean, that way if cancel later, happy days!

Mr B
If in doubt.....Leave it out !!

I charge at least double for one offs, but it's not the ones who say they want one offs that are the problem, it is the ones with minging windows that say they want regular. I usually charge more for the first clean. Depending on how suspicious I am and the state of the windows I charge up to double on the first clean.

Cliff - charge at least 1.5x for first cleans and at least 2-3x for one-off's (if not more).

This will stop the one off types disguising themselves as regulars getting a cheap clean and if they still turn into one offs your covered in your price.
