Broken Power Socket on Airflex Storm
« on: October 28, 2012, 07:59:23 am »
I have the Airflex Storm which has an extension power cable that plugs into the remote box which in turn plugs into the leads on the back of the machine.

On Friday on finishing a job one of the ends of the extension leads has slightly broken and although still works I would like to replace it, its the bit which when not connected has a flip lid that covers the socket, its the lid that has broken. My question is where is the best place to get a replacement, had a look in b & q yesterday but could not see anything similar, any ideas where i could get one from?

Yes i could but it would take a couple of days plus the carriage and normally i would but next time what would happen if i accidentally trod on it mid job i wouldn't be able to finish it there and then and it would be handy to know where to get on locally in an emergency. I may well end up getting one from Matt but thought it useful to know just in case. :)

If you order before 2pm it'll arrive next day.

Alot more straight forward getting it from Matt than spending time searching else where to save a few pounds on postage.
