i guess i could run two men of one pump but rather have separate pumps,funds tight at the moment so i am on the scrounge,i live in the cheshire area

Bob, just buy a 2202a from redhatdiving. I am using one with a maplins flow controller and it is working fine. Pump and controller all in for £62.00 or the pump for 28 plus delivery.

I could be wrong but all the pumps are the same
But it's just the pressure switch that govens
The psi I think it's 10L per min so no need for
Flow controller.
I could be wrong

Don't think it is bull, nothing wrong with trying to keep expenses down. I bought a 3rd hand shurflo when I started and it lasted 5 years.

All that usually happens is that the brushes wear in the motor. Managed to find an online brush supplier and refurbed mine for about a tenner - seven years old and still fine.

its not just a pump im after but quite a few bits some i have sourced and some still to be sourced,in total it would cost £400 new all the things i am after so i am trying to get them second hand or for free
and besides i dont have any spare cash

Sorry I haven't but it was a company in Bournemouth that advertise online. You need the model number and type of pump and in my case we had to trim them down a bit but they worked fine.

the tightest window cleaner i ever met was a guy who i worked for many years ago.if you lost a window scraper(cheapo paint scraper £1 at the time)he would say use a 50 pence piece!he also use ladders until the rungs were falling off!!

by the way he used to brag he had over £40,000 in the bank.

just buy a new one mate esp as its a pump!!i use a shurflo 100psi and its still going strong after 2 and a half years.

Get a flojet from Gardiners - I've changed to these. No flow controller and as yet no burnt out switches after one year. £68 plus vat or £82 with strainer, clips and fittings.
