the reason i ask is i use u/m and i usually just fill from the hot tap and clean, i wonder what temp im actually using if it could be to high or not

there must be a max temp they can come out though surely to stop people getting burnt.

 i disagree think you can say to a point,  i like to work with hot water around 70c, most customers are 30 - 50, for me its pretty rare that i feel a custys water does not need further heating, if a custys waters 60 or 70 thats hot enough,

 if you not got temp gauge, i call hot (70) when you would nt like to keep a finger in for more than 2 secs,  30-50 i would call warm you could put your whole hand in that.

to some up the hottest tape water i have ever come across was 70c !

the custy warned me to that it was extremly hot.

it says you could not keep your finger in more than 2 secs at 70.

30-50 you can put your hand in.
