thats right ive used ultimate at highe temp leaves a clear gel type of scum in your solution tank, but only there. does no harm, can be cleaned off,

power burst i found to be excellent prespray, 3 scoops in 5l sprayer fill with water, (it says it should be pre diluted with warm water) no need.  leave on carpet 5 mins.

Some confusion here and  I hope Robert or Steve respond. Ultimate master is not a prespray, but an excellent hwe cleaner and why anyone thinks Promite is a prespray has me totally bamboozled.

The Saunders brothers are excellent communicators and give clear explanations of their pruducts capabilities, so what on earth happened at the open day ?

There is a promite prespray & a protector. ultimate master should not be used above 65, there is a liqiud ultimate master specifically for tms.

Use hand tool or wand to pre-spray ?

Dont use it myself but have done in past. Prefere MS.

I was told by Alltec not to go above 55 degrees, never had a problem with it foaming either, could it be the deodoriser foaming,  I know Prochem Fresh can make the tank and waste a bit foamy if you use to much.

Promite

The product I was refering to is called Promite Pre Cleaner

As I understood it you usr it prior to

cleaning the room.

After you have cleaned
 the room

got the carpet reasonably dry

 You then apply Promite  Protector

Re Ultimate Master You Pre Spray it first leave to drell agitate etc and the extract with Ultimate Master in the tank.

However if Carpet is very Dirty use Traffic Lane or Pre Spray Gold

However if I have got it wrong please say so.

As I do not want to   lead any one astray

Ian

I agree with you, I was told that if you use Ultimate Master above 55 degrees centipede ( ;D) it would neutralise itself!!

Hi guys,

Spoke to Alltec re Ultimate Master.

The temperature restriction is due to the  chemical which self neutralises being temperature sensitve , so above 50 centigrade it starts to neutralise in solution.

By 70 degrees solution is neutral and very ineffective.

It does not , contrary to some claims contain enzymes. As some know , I am very careful in my use of enzyme products due to their asthma sensitisation side effects.

Cheers

Most people will know that I have always sung praise of Utimate master, and always appreciatted its anti foam property. However the latest tub I got which I am about a third through, has given me quite bad foaming problems. I thought it must be the carpet at first but have now come to the conclusion it is the Ultimate Master. I havent altered the dilution from what Ive always used, I wonder if this new Ultimate Master has had some of the defoamer removed, it certainly doesnt scum up like it used to. I must admit the problem has put me off it somewhat, I think I'll get in touch, just in case it was a bad batch.

Gary,

You will still have been cleaning with a detergent ,  but it will have been neutral and as most dirt is acidic , less effective than the alkali solution it would have been at 50C.

The plus point may be,  that you would have been inadvertently woolsafe ;D

much too variable, to rely on.   most gas systems are 'on demand ' and it depends on the homeowners individual setting.
