Pure freedom 2 man upgrade cost
« on: October 13, 2012, 09:10:03 pm »
As above, do you known how much an upgrade from a one man operator is? How much do pure freedom charge? How much would it be to do it myself?

Im currently running a one man system with a 650 litre tank. Had the system from pure freedom for 18 months and its been fantastic, just looking at the possibility of taking on a part time/occasional worker

You can run 2 men from 1 pump, however, it's not ideal as pressure can be lost when operators are on different heights.

Another pump and another reel, that's it could do it for around £200

Ideally you need two pumps and two controllers or you will have issues with pressure in the system. Also be aware that running two pumps doubles the current draw and will reduce the working time per charge.

Certainly worth a chat with Andy at PF

Thanks Ian

I posted over the weekend, but have since spoken to Andy.

£391 inc vat fitted for an extra reel, pump, strainer and controller if anybody's looking to do the same

could get a cheap backpack, I use a van mount and a trolley when my adhoc part timer comes out, works well as you can work a few houses apart on stuff that is spread out.
