If you are talking about washing cars using a brush with pure water fine for a couple of quid a car.

if you are talking about valeting cars for £50+ then no not suitable at all.

the pure water aspect is fine, but you just can't use a brush on the paintwork it will finely scratch and damage the paintwork causing swirling, in much the same way that a car wash does - which is why people who care for their cars use a valeting service in the first place...

For camper vans, caravan and the like its fine, as its either that or work off ladders, which brings up different issues...

Never used dry cleaning products on soft furnishings so can't comment on that side of things.

I have to agree with the scratching. I cleaned the Transit van for the first time useing a high low brush at the weekend, and this morning I noticed in the sunlight it was covered in micro scratches. However it doesnt end there, at the time I was really impressed and washed my wifes brand new car as well  havent looked.

If not a brush or sponge wot you supposed to use

I rinse down the wifes car with the wfp and purified water as it leaves no streaks and cleans the windows great it also puts a good shine on the paintwork with no scratches etc.
So long as you clean all the dirt and the grit you wont get any damage whotsoever from the wfp as there is nothing to do this.

i clean my car and van with my ninja(yes i take the wand off !!)   and use my carpet cleaning chems it comes up treat

I have used my wfp on my car and couldn't see any scratches after.
I have a Viking brush on the pole which have quite soft bristles.

I have used it on my Caravan also.
Had a few people ask about cleaning their Caravans and thinking of looking into that a bit later on.
I wouldn't start cleaning peoples cars with it though.
