FaceLift New
« on: October 06, 2012, 09:00:04 am »
Facelift have spent good advertising money on an advertising banner on this site.

Having been involved with marketing for many years in a previous life, I usually do click on a banner thats grabbed my interest. Sadly it soon fizzled out as their front page is advertising a 10% discount on all fitted systems for one month only - August. If they could be bothered to sort that out, then what else wouldn't they be bothered with?

Closed the page down after I saw that.

Spruce, we are currently in the process of having a new site built from scratch - had issues with the current on locking up modules and not being able to change things. I'm getting the web guys on it now to see what we can get done to stop offending people!!

Not being sarcastic, sorry if comes across that way. Just explaining the situation. Genuinely apologetic that the site has led someone to click off.

Ok, we've worked out what has happened. The banner should of replaced itself at the end of the month, which it didn't, and put up the latest one for sept, oct, etc. Somehow the function didn't kick in, so we've disabled it for the time being.

New site coming so this slipped us by....
