hi... I am a window cleaner

one of my cats has started peeing in my lounge ...we have cleaned the carpet with a vax....but the smell wont go.
we used carpet shampoo from tesco.

IS there a de-oderiser I can use that works?
any advise welcome

source of smell may be lower down than just your carpet surface, maybe soaked right through to underlay and sub floor. may need lifting for a deep clean.....

This works well but needs to be used pretty much straight away after extracting as much of the 'accident' as possible.

ok, thanks for your replies....
I am going to remove underlay in affected area. then use the urine neutraliser and re-clean....then I am going to put new underlay....

hope it works , its a large room , and the affected area is only small, the carpet is otherwise in good condition!.....
as for the cat , well..............

If your cat is a tom, you might have some problems.
