Anyone used one of these to stop tank freezing up if so which ones? Looked at one on net claiming to heat up to 600lts. Just to stop freezing not to produce hot water.

I have got one which will.heat up to 1000 ltrs . But not used it as yet their was a few lads on here who used them last year and they.worked well but you will neec a pump as well.to help circulate the the heat around the tank . Mike

Yes

The 300 watt ones

I stick two in static tank, one if needed in van tank.

Water is warm by the morning, keeps nice until say lunchtime, very worth while.

Suggest using two in van tank., I have 350 litre, so if you had 600 litre, buy 3.

Always remove them in morning, as they break easily.

Cheap way of keeping water warm.

If in doubt.....Leave it out !!
