allthough i don't use card machines the price you pay seems good to me i think you would only save a little if you searched but i like the tried and tested you could change and save £5 a month but then have problems you never had before.

You can then change over and save yourself a fiver a month.

after massive research on this subject including numerous visits from terminal sales reps. i came to the conclusion that there all the same price, they just dress it up differently. low rates but minimum charge on transactions, or no minumum but high rates, or low rates on domestic bt high on commercial cards. or initial one off fees that look harmless but end up making up the small percentage you save on tranactions or seams cheap but they have you for 5 years etc.... anyway you get the drift. if your happy and you know it then stick with the devil you know rather than a bird in the bush.

It's good to keep up to date with these things, I was looking a while back and didn't go for it and since then the options seemed to have widened.

I use a system from Barclays called EPDQ Lite, pc based, just call whoever is paying and enter their details, not ideal if you want to take payment there and then, unless you log on with a laptop in custy's house, after completion of job.
