Ashbys supreme powder
« on: October 01, 2012, 07:21:32 pm »
Hi, does anyone use the above? I bought something recently and the guy gave it to me as he was packing the business in and no longer needed it. I haven't used Ashbys products in the past so any feedback welcome.

Cheers

one person looked up the data sheet ...

Its washing soda + surfactant + perfume
Add some oxidizer , like chemspec energizer when needed and it should be as good as any of the newer powders  .

For a Company that has been around for yonks i am amazed no one admits to having used it.

I have used it and found it does a good job providing you also apply an acid rince or spray.

But personally I have a leg that flairs up and I found it tended to happen when I am near this product.

Cheers for the replies, so I'm guessing from the eot comment it is similar in terms to shock wave and power burst, I.e a high ph.
Is this an in tank detergent or a pre spray, I prefer not to run any powders through my pump.

Thanks

His Dad is a real gent and helped a lot of people on here get started and make a lot of money. Martin would have been better getting a career in merchant banking.

could not have worded it better myself... have had a great working relationship with Derek, Cathy & youngest son Edward for years... but Martin is impossible.... i fear for the Ashby name when Derek eventually takes well over due retirement.
