« on: September 10, 2012, 07:07:46 pm »
It’s a long story but the wife smashed my lap top and memory stick, totally unrecoverable.

What I need urgently is

Would appreciate if someone can email me there’s (lenpg@btinternet.com)

thanks

Len,

If I lost all my work data Risk assessments and method statements would be the last things I'd be worried about. :D

Was it on your hard drive . If so she really would have had to smash it hard so as not to be able recover data at specialist

There both worth a fortune to me at this moment that’s why need them urgently. You can’t do anything in the commercial world if you ant got them.

Ian

It was on both.  tried everything even ask a mate who owns a computer shop to have a look the hard drive is totally F and backup memory stick

Len,

I realise that this is a bit late now BUT...

Try an online back up service. I use one called carbonite ( www.carbonite.com ).

Basically, all the time you are online, the program transfers your data to a secure online storage facility. It was a godsend when a virus wiped out my hard drive.
