Yes great effort But if a custy sais what solids i wanna be able to tell them.I know how it all works but not the technical bla bla,so thought some1 here might.I forgot the total disolved solids bit
PPM= particles per millionParticles= minerals and other impurities eg certain metals. Most notable mineral for the customer being calcium..the white stuff left on their car or house windows after spraying with a hosepipe using plain tap water and letting it dry. Particularly in hard water areas. generally when the reading gets to 015 on the TDS meter its worthwhile changing the resin.

Well, I'll type it. "You know when you splash tap water onto the windows you get white marks when it dries? Well, that's the minerals in the water. The water I use to clean the windows has all the minerals removed, so when it dries, they dry perfectly clear."
