Seen this controller and it looks ok just wondered if anyone else has one?

that looks very dodgy to me, i would steer clear.

its probably one of the cheap maplin regulators in a box, with 2 core mains wire on it.

There are so many of these been made by every Ton Dick and Harry inside they all the same. I am sure it will do the job. They are making a remote controller I have had one for 2 years already.
