From what I read, there are 2 reasons for the lack of interest:

1. Too far to travel.
2. Can't see the point.

I think there is another, underlying reason:
A lot of people come on here, quite genuine, but want to keep private.
Nothing wrong with that.
Also, maybe some feel It's just a trade show organized commercially by the site owners and the sponsors. Which,again, nothing wrong with that.

What are your thoughts?

tosh mate, i done this at truckfest,and even got a few prizes for a great truck,the last thing i want to show of is a van,which i dont look after that well

only bin in the game 6 months , so i would have loved the chance to see a few vans and accesories , but its too far for me , and to top it all i think i spelt aczesories wrong twice
