Hi,

I use george at the moment and find the system great. the day i go out to clean i just print a "work list" for the day and everything comes out with addresses/prices/notes. It also has loads of useful features and reports

If i have to give it some negatives:

1. you cant select multiple addresses at once (i.e. if you want to change all your work from 5 weekly to 4 weekly you have to do it 1 by 1)
2. Reordering the round can be a pain in the *** but once you have it the way you want it its ok
3. mobile support is only for palm os (i believe) so no common tablet (ipad/galaxy) support

Anyway im sure loads of people use different packages - I have only used George so my knowledge on alternatives is limited.

All the best,

David

I am currently using both.

Had George for 5 years and it has been fantastic for the money, updates and support. Like everything else you need time to load it with your round and then time to understand it. I use the monthly report with my receipts stapled to it bank balance written on for the start and end of that month and then its given to my accountant.

I will swoop over to Aworka, the sister to George because it is cloud based and works on my phone, ipad or any computer. Its crap having to keep too running but I want to make sure its as good as George. Oh just to add I emailed Chris at Aworka on Sunday with a question and he replied straight back, so also great service

I would look and trail both and see what you like the look of, but thats when the work starts!

I use both george and aworka and  i have found that the aworka programme is getting better all the time.

Paul at george has said that he will not be going down the ipad operating route.

as time goes by I am starting to use aworka more and more and at the beginning of next years tax year I will stop using george and just use aworka
