Been asked to clean and seal a terracotta tile floor - it was a garage but has been converted by a reputable builder so presume the subfloor was covered with a damproof barrier of some sort - client does not know - most of floor has been covered by rush matting since install and is clean (and dry) - some not covered now grubby rather than really dirty but obviously dont want to seal dirty tiles - my method would be to pre-wet then use AM T and G cleaner and seal with several coats of AM Enrich and Seal - anyone got anything else to offer - there is effloresence on several tiles and I'd like to remove that as well first - the terracotta were bought as a cheap job lot in spain and bought back for this job! They look a bit rough and ready - I presume it will need several coats of sealer - client wants low sheen!
Any suggestions or input welcome!
