Working away
« on: August 20, 2012, 09:15:34 pm »
A few weeks ago I wrote about a job that a customer wanted done, in Sunderland. I was unsure weather to take the 'risk' giving a 'blind' quote.

Well, I took the risk & did the job today.

Due to my business partner having an appointment this morning, we set off at 10am.

The place was filthy & needed a good clean up & pre-vac.. Then the biggest problem hit us - we couldnt get hot water! So we had to use the heater on the machine to get us upto temperature.

We pre treated any bad stains, cleaned the carpet, then misted over with a deodiriser

In all, including travel (3hours) it took us 8hours. And a neighbour came & asked us to clean a rug, we did so, he was impressed & wants his full house cleaned anually (we hope he retains my phone number anyway)

So it was a risk, that paid off, and paid well.

Thanks for reading
