sounds like no power reaching the vac wire terminals ...   u would have to test that with a phase tester , dmm , or one of those little voltage testers that doesn't even touch the wire ...
if no power there ... try testing for voltage before and after the switch ... could be a switch fault .

i can see it on the airflex site pic ... up for vac3 on , middle must be off and down is AUX ...  but what the auxiliary is suppose to be powering  ? ... i have no idea

Perhaps someone here has a turbo and might know ..   :)

perhaps there is an aux power input on the back of the machine to directly connect the heater , i cases where u dont want to run a third cord  ... but you couldn't have vac three on at the same time on the same cord ... hence the three way switch ...

Why don't you just ring up Matt up Cleansmart?

I've got a Storm now but I had a Turbo and there is a socket on the right by the back wheel on earlier models for the heater as John suggested. Rather than fiddle any further ask Matt for a number of a local engineer who service Airflex machines or see if Frank or Matt can talk you through a fault diagnosis. They are always happy to help if you call.

Just occurred to me, why not switch connections from one of the other vacs to the potential faulty switch if it does not work at least you will know what the problem is, which means hopefully your vacs are fine.

Best bet is to disconnect the cables from the vac and leave the switches alone to start with. Might seem daft but number the vacs with a marker pen and put a bit of tape or mark the corresponding cables after the connector. You should have the cables and motors all marked in the original positions. Now disconnect vac 1 or 2 and attach to vac 3 cable. If the switch fails problem solved. It could also be something simple like an earth cable make sure they are secure too.
