water marks

these stains were caused by the customer trying to remove  2 small marks which she did very successfully...... this is how it dried though :-\ :-\

What tool is that you use.

its a Butler upholstery tool with internal bypass adjustment.

any photo i post can be used by anyone, i never really care.

this a Buffalo fabric which I find the easiest clean of all fabrics but it does water mark really easily if you do spot removal.

this was a 5 seater corner unit with another stain the same size on the other end, took me an hour to clean with like you can see really good results..... pity it was still damp when i left as it tends to dry really slowly

The reason it drys like that when doing spot removal is because its not drying evenly.

Mike has extracted the whole sofa so will be fine when dry even if it takes 24+ hours to dry.

My girlfriends sofas used to be like that when I used to clean them. Every time I went to her house as a cleaner I was like "wtf is she doing to these sofas??!"

Turned out that she poured boiling hot water on the corners of the suite everytime her two chiwawas pee'd on it!

Her sofas are more of a chenille type fabric though.

it looks like you can still see slight yellowing were the water marks were lets see what it's like when dry good job though  :)

yes you get this but 99% of the time they dry out

 ask your wife i am sure she as had the same problem with one of her good tops  (the one where she wont tell you what she paid for it)   thats a tip when out talking to custy about stuff like this us women know more then you think about water marks  ;)
