What TM prespray/rinse do you use?
« on: August 16, 2012, 01:46:39 am »
Hey guys,

For all you TM'ers out there, which pre-sprays do you use with the hydraforce and which rinse agent?

I'm looking for something that not only cleans well, but has some sort of odour control and some deodourising properties, so if a customer put their nose to the carpet after cleaning, it should smell of something fragrant.

Cheers,

Anthony

Cleaning carpets properly stops them smelling bad :)

Use whatever's needed to get the right cleaning result... if you feel like it have a trigger spray with some smelly stuff you can puff a few squirts of it round afterwards

Remember not all customers will want any synthetic/unnatural perfumes adding in to their homes.

I think the nicest after-smell cleaning is when m-power has been used as a pre-spray, just a fresh smell without being overpowering

I find synthetic deodorisers smell lovely straight out of the bottle but after a day or so they "go off" and smell different, they don't have that initial "twang" like when first applied.

Thanks for the reply Jim, I did use NI-712 for a while and will be looking to use it again as customers always used to comment on "oh it smells nice" even though I felt guilty that it was a spray rather than the carpet itself smelling "fresh". Prochem Odour Fresh has worked quite well in the past too although it's not the most economical product in the world. I've used Natural Odour Neutraliser too but didn't like the fragrance all that much.

Might just stick with SPM as the pre-spray / rinse if needed.

Cheers,

Anthony
