To Smoke or NOT To Smoke
« on: August 10, 2012, 02:36:53 pm »
So following on from my post a few weeks a go regarding E-Cigs.........I decided to purchase the book someone mentioned but got bored whilst reading it so that was ANOTHER fail.

So, on Monday 30th July i started on the Ego T  CE4 that i purchased from www.vape4ever.co.uk  I have to admit my thoughts were "I will not last more than 1 maybe 2 days".  Well it has come as a major shock that i am now into day 11.  Still not had a cigarette, don't want a cigarette and my kids are real proud of me.

Thanks guys .......ands you Shaun :)

Jim, im not eating any sweets.  Thats the beauty of the EGO T i got from vape4ever.  The e liquid has nicotine in it which isnt harmful in the low doses that e liquids and cigarettes have.  So with non of the other ingredients such as tar its actually healthy :)  The nicotine stops you gaining the weight and stops any cravings you normally get when you quit smoking.

Take a look at this .........

There's no smoke involved. The electronic cigarette (e-cig) is powered by a battery, most of which have a button to engage them. Attached to the battery is an atomiser which heats up when you press the button. Attached to the atomiser is
a cartridge or tank of some form which contains what's known as an e-liquid. When the coil of the atomiser heats up, it vaporises the e-liquid which you then inhale. So there's no smoke, only vapour.

The e-liquid is made up of a base, flavouring and nicotine. The base is usually propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin (food grade) or a combination of the 2. Flavourings come in various forms, the majority of which are food flavourings. Quality e-liquids have naturally produced nicotine from organic plant sources. The nicotine levels vary to suit the vaper, from high levels of 36mg to low levels of 6mg. There is also liquids with no nicotine in for those coming off the nicotine all together. Everything in e-liquids is safe, although it does contain nicotine which is a poison and a stimulant. In low levels, nicotine is simply a stimulant, just like caffeine in coffee.

The 4000+ chemicals found in cigarette smoke, many of which are proven carcinogens, are removed. The vapour gives you the feeling, sensation and satisfaction of smoking without the harmful effects.

I used pure will power, try this to get leverage get a close family member or a friend and make a deal with them that if you smoke again you have to write an agreement that you will pay them £500 if you light up a cig again, and that they can spend it on anything they like.

Ive not smoked for 5 weeks or more now, I found by staying away from people who smoke and from events/pubs clubs, or anywhere where I would be tempted to light up.

anyway I can't see what this has to do with cleaning but still, well I guess your cleaning out your lungs from toxic chemicals, anyway I'm off now to snort a few lines of ProChem Double clean.....lol

i used to smoke 40 a day, worked in a wholesalers and got paid monthly, was sat there one day with 4 ciggies left, a tenner in my pocket and TWO WEEKS  until pay day, phoned up my missus and said i was sick of being skint all the time( ABSOLUTLY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE HARM IT WAS PROBABLY DOING ME) So i said i would enjoy these last 4 ciggies and then i would give up

that was 20 years ago and as soon as i made my mind up that was it
never smoke another ciggie since, and whats more, is i have NEVER wanted to, i think if you are really really determined then something in your head just "clicks"
will power is a great thing

That's spot on Colin - the point is you've got to WANT to give up.

If you do then you won't need e-cigs, gum, patches or any other crutch, you will just do it.

I gave up New Years Day, me and the wife both did. We had been talking about giving up for about 4 months beforehand.

We didn't cut down and we carried on smoking right up to and including New Years Eve - I must have smoked nearly a pack of cigs New Years Eve, but New Years Day we stopped and neither of us has had a cig since - because we both WANTED to give up.

It's nothing to do with will power, you just have to want to give up.

I have tried many times before and failed because I was doing it for all the wrong reasons, I didn't want to give up, I just felt I should.

Trust me, when you do it for the right reasons, It is easy !
