A "know it all" friend tells me that there is an app available that allows users to run Palm programs on a windows phone. I don't know anything about the app. George is free for a trial period so if you can find this app, it might be good to see if you can get it to work.

We still have Windows XP 32 bit and use Zire 31 PDA's - sync done via USB.

For £10 a month it should be a hell of a lot better than George.  :o
I can remember when waking up stiff in the morning was a good thing.

I don't know for certain but, I wouldn't have thought that a windows phone would be able to run the full version of George. Get yourself a cheap Palm PDA off of fleabay, (just about any will work as long as it is running Palm OS) and get pocket George.  ;)

thed fact that i can have a list on my phone and update during the day to sync up for when i get home, does make it a hell of a lot better than george in my opinion

Recently got a brand new palm, unused off fleabay for £40. I had to put a new battery in it and it works brilliantly. Have installed pocket george and boy how fantastic that is.
Full worksheet details and debts to hand, I used to use pocket george years ago but my palm at the time fell in a bucket of water! Never realised how much I missed it.

i agree, i think portable systems are great, i do still have a paper copy list, so i can add up everything and make sure there are no differences, £10 a month for that aworka doesnt seem really expensive to me at 2.50 a week, i like the fact that i can use it anywhere with the internet as well.  George has done me really well for the last three years, i just fancied a change :-)

Small plug here - www.PlanMyJobs.com has just gone free. That's free as in no charges whatsoever. It can be easily accessed on mobile phones, tablets or PCs.

NB although a charge is mentioned on the home page, this is wrong and will be corrected. There is nothing to pay.
