Newbie question lads, was doing a first clean on a fairly recently built house and before I started I noticed a serious amount of really deep scores in the glass both inside and out. I was speaking to the owner and he mentioned that when they bought it, it had alot of plaster on the inside and out and they had scrubbed it again and again before finally removing it, I didn't want to mention the scraps and scores for fear of getting the blame but I'm assuming his effort at removing cement and plaster did the damage.
Anyway just wondering is there any circumstances where a wfp can score glass? Obviously constantly checking the brush and keeping it free from debris is a must.
Today was slightly unnerving as I'm thinking would it be possible to leave someone's glass in bad state, def gona check before I clean from now on.

If you have dirt/grit on the brush I am sure this could scratch glass.
On every first clean we do we check before we clean them for any scratches/marks and point them out to the owner.

Definitely checking all glass on first cleans from now on, all I would need would be a phonecall and someone accusing me of "Oi mate you scrapped my bleeding windows, I want them replaced"

Glass is hard to scratch with wfp.
 I have tried and i cant scratch my own glass with wfp.
 In twenty years of window cleaning i have had about four complaints of scatched glass, and every time it was  new glass.
 And every time the owner would not admit that the window fitter was probably to blame.
