Just got Adepta (pure freedom) battery charger today.

Started charging battery.

On charger, green and red light come on and flash together.

Is this right?

Read the instructions which are brief and mentions nothing about lights flashing.

Different style of charger to my old one

hi lee i have 2 of these,when i plug in the light comes on red,then turns yellow when 90% charged then green when fully charged.

check the wiring in the plug mate.


they should defo not be flashing!!

Was gonna answer my own question on here; swapped the two wires over in the white plug, problem solved, they were wrong way round that's why they were flashing

I know you have a freedom trolley; I took battery off as it had, had it and connected a smaller golf trolley battery i got off amazon, 22 amp 12v.

Half the size and connected those white male female electrical connectors from adepta.

Now to charge battery I unplug from varistream controller, pull battery out from trolley as smaller and lighter and bring that indoors, leave trolley in van.

Just saying as i know your in a flat, my place is small also.

sorry i meant how long does it last on one charge .n also how often do you guys with the trolly charge them up
