Might have said before but ill say again incase
Been using virosol for 3 years now. I mix mine 1 part virosol to 24 parts water in a 25L barrel then transfer into a 5L garden sprayer to get onto conny roofs. I have played about with mixtures and found that this is the best mix where your not worrying about it drying out on a warm day too quickly.
Now for an average conny roof i will use 5-7L of my mix. some may say its too much but i find the more you put on the easier it is. This pic is what i class as an average conny roof to give you an idea..

A conny like this has 3 sides to it (some only have 2) so i do each side at a time.
First spray the side with your mix, then clean the pannels and frames one at a time working from the bottom (gutter) upwards. Then once i have done that move onto the next and so on until all pannels and frames have been cleaned. Turn the water on to your brush every now and then to get the mix activating ( you will see it froth which is good).
Once you have done all the pannels, then move to the cresting (pointy bits). by this time your brush should be really foamy so you wont need to spray any more mix on (if you do need more - take it off the pannels you have just cleaned)
Then you brush and rinse away all the mix starting from the top down.
Repeat this on each side your cleaning.
*********
Once you have done all sides, give the lips (where the water runs off the roof into the gutters) a wipe over with a cloth. The mix will have run over this and really softened up any dirt on there so it will come off easily.
Next move on to the outside of the gutters - you again should have enough mix on your brush to clean them, but if you need more then spray onto your brush, not onto the gutter. Clean and rinse.
Then you need to do a final rinse to get any bits off the roof and your done (can be done with your wfp or custys tap if its a poly carb roof).
Now this is an extra bit that you might or might not do (some do, some dont) so this will go where i have put the ***** above
Clear out the gutters into a bucket (works best with your hands but wear gloves). Then
you want to get a hosepipe on low setting and brush the dirt stuck to the gutters and rinse with the hose untill clean.
Here is my list of tools that i use for conny roof cleaning
wfp (clx 18)
vikan sill brush (red & green flocked - its big and makes cleaning the cresting a piece of cake)
step ladders
5L sprayer
my mix
40m hose with sprayer attatchments and other connectors to connect to custys tap where possible
18L bucket
brush from a dustpan & brush set (for cleaning the gutters)
Heres some before and after pics of my work using my above method (hope its been helpfull)
