if it was me bearing in mind it would have to be near all my other work, i would just say ok and treat it as if i have time to do it and can be bothered at the time then i would if not i would leave it. depends really how much you need the work and how good of a job is it for the money if it takes less then an hour or so then i would do as above.

I would say that the big factor her is it's location. If the house is on or near a few other rounds and can be added to them, I would be flexible. Do the job when it suits you. After all 60 quid is 60 quid.  :)

well if it was me then i would get rid as that's a poor hourly rate and as said just get a few more small ones to compensate

Sound like too much customer hassle plus job sounds PIA as well ... Just tell them job too cheap and suggest an as and when premier service but for a premier price

I've got the same thing , 70 quid house, only do it when she wants it done. But hey ho money is good only takes 2 hours so I keep her, think you should charge more and see what happens!

Thanks.

that job for 2 and a half hours, not only is underpriced but seems a right pain in the arse, probably why they didnt have a window cleaner already, in my opinion even if you do take it on, a few months down the line you will drop it out of frustration/pain in the arse job, so its up to you mate

I think you've answered your own question.  If you charge a decent minimum price (ours is £10) and for that you do a small 3 bed semi, how many of those could you do in an hour?

Would  you really prefer to slave for 2 1/2 hours  for someone who has no appreciation of your service and still earn far less than you could doing simple 'run of the mill' jobs?  I don't think so!!

firefly, at a guess, I'd be charging about twice that for the job. Then it would be work the hassle.
