it all sounds good tosh but i can honestly say pole hose on the outside of a pole coupled with pinching the hose to turn it on and off was a ruddy nightmare!!FAR TOO SLOW!!
trust me if i could work like that i would!like you ve said.pole will last longer due to no ingress of dirt, easier to extend and you can add sections very easily.i just couldnt get on with working that way.
the sheer ease of turning water on and off with the aqua-daptor,no loop of hose like when you use a pole tap/trigger is just fantastic.the extra weight is minimal.the new aqua-daptor is even lighter and more compact!
ive snapped a couple of springs but its an easy fix.first one lasted 9 months of constant use before eventually snapping.just keep a few spares in the van.
a compact mark 3 aqua-daptor on an 25ft extreme pole with either a standard angle adaptor or carbon gooseneck with extreme brush surely would be the lightest, easiest and most convienient way to work with minimum strain for most domestic/small/medium commercial jobs of mine.
the only down side of the extreme pole i reckon would be poling in windy conditions!!
