My battery is three years old and still going - the key is using it and charging it equally. That is don't drain it to the bottom then hammer it on the charger.

I changed my pump voluntarily after four years a couple of weeks ago as the fittings were getting loose otherwise it was fine after a fair few freeze ups!

Shurflo  pump 5 yrs , mk 11 varistream 5 yrs, never had a problem with either, switch controller on st 1st job , not turned of till end of day , batteries 3 + yrs, was going to start a thread where we all list equipment used  , and length of service , would be good to build a picture of what is reliable , and what is not.

Good to hear the system is going strong a properly set up system can last for years without problem. Some our V1 analogues are seven years old and still going strong.
