At last a worthy replacement for Hyrdramaster's discontinued OJ.
I've tried a few different products to replace OJ but none seem to be as good, until I gave Resolvit a try. Good stuff.

From the WOC website

The best that I have found is oram jell from texatherm or textile cleaning solutions. Have got quite a lot of different ones in the garage that have not made the mark, but have got a chemical company that is interested in trying to formulate something for the market so will be trying some more things out in the near future. I do use a few different concoctions for things like blue tac but am still looking for the holy grail for chewing gum removal. At present doing student accomadation so anything that will save minutes or seconds per piece will save a week on the total contract time.

the hm jell needed a lot of rinsing where as the texatherm product can be wiped off with a towel without leaving white marks. The solution product was not as effective.
Have spent the last 3 weeks practicing and trying different solutions on blue tac (and we do have rather a lot of it). The fastest way so far is cellulose thinners. You obviously cannot let the thinners penetrate anywhere near the backing but it is a lot quicker than cooking oil and breaks it up very quickly. We have just been dabbing it with a towel with a small amount of thinner on it. If using cooking oil be sure to rinse well afterwards.
