I use walking boots for both mountain / hill walking , and window cleaning
I have 4 pairs , 2 of which I wear for window cleaning , 1 pair of berghaus boots that I bought for window cleaning , which were crap - very sloppy in wet , not water proof , and sole split on back of 1 boot , they are now only used to walk the dog,
Sounds like you did not get them fitted correctly , and are prob experiencing heel lift,
Good walking boots have to deal with wet grass , and wet rock , so to say they are no good on wet concrete ,Some what suprises me , I find it best to get a boot with Vibram soles , as these grip well in the wet , and are hard wearing.
