« on: July 17, 2012, 12:08:15 pm »
Any remidies for removing blood stains, on carpet and mattresses ?, We;re not talking about blotting up five minutes after they occur, but dried in, maybe even months old stains ?
Thanks in advance

Stain Pro or Craftex Rust Remover followed by a santizer.
Make sure you don't extract with hot water as it cooks the blood and sets it, cold water only.

A bit of salt in the cold will give you a better result but you must do a lot of flushing. Enzymes can also be effective on this type of stain but also needs to be cool.
It will take some time to dissolve so you need to be patient. If after a lot of time there is still a stain there then a good rust remover should do the trick. By good I mean the craftex or stapro product not the prochem product.
