Don't you mean Terry 'Ash White' Tibbs

You don’t just jump into bed with Terry Tibbs, you take Terry Tibbs out to lunch, you wine and dine him, you give him an oil massage then he gives you 1950 if you’re lucky!"        ;D

The machines are available. Just not the Flexi5 variant as such.
There has been an addition of a roller front and back to keep them level and prevent digging in.
If I can help feel free to call 01334656787

I think that listing has been on there a long time Richard, old model..maybe JK will confirm?

Jamie what's the deal with the "new" machine then?  Direct drive?  Same design otherwise or just something totally different?

Its essentially the same machine. No direct drive. The rollers front an d back prevent it from digging in and loading up the machine too much. Still a great bit of a kit. I can supply if anyone would like one.

Just been speaking with Carpetgard who used to make the Flexi5. Apparently it was taken over by a Dutch company who got the new model made in China and they've had so many problems with it that they've disassociated themselves with it. Reliability and parts availability problems.

It was always made by a Dutch company in China. It is the same company/manufacturer that makes a lot of Premier Products machinery. I spoke with them at Interclean and have the original brochure form Russell who used to be with Chemspec.

If you're accustomed to pre-vaccing then you might be disappointed in the Flexi-5 vacuum machine as I use a Sebo BS36. But the Flexi-5 is a very good agitation machine, it's robust and built to last, which is better than I've heard about the Envirodri. I got mine through Chemspec, via a local supplier.

Brushes are interchangeable and I've removed the vac machine from it. Don't waste your time or money get the real deal.

The first Flexi 5 I sold was to a guy who had an Axminster in his living room. I did a demo at his house. He had just thoroughly vacuumed with  BS46. He wanted to see what additional muck the Flexi 5 could pull out. He was quite shocked and bought it there and then.

Can't comment on the Flexi 5 but, Used my Rotowash on a trashed carpet yesterday, customer walked in after using it and asked if i was finished as the carpet looked clean?

I would be lost without it.
