I have lots of pics ,but unfortunatly because of the pixel issue when blown up to the size i wanted for my van, they were not suitable, the sign writer got me a cple from istock photos which of course had to be paid for .

As i said Jim and carpet guy. I have photo's but the picture quality does not show the true difference. So options. Buy nice camera and wait for the right clean to turn up or ask my fellow colleagues for assistance. Its not rocket science and yes i am a carpet cleaner all be it a novice by your standards Jim.

Hi Tom...
In actual fact it's incredibly difficult to take a good before and after picture.
In most cases the light is just not right to demonstrait the contrast and most pictures just don't show the cleaning effect due to light conditions no matter what camera you have.
If you'v got a reasonable digital camera or smart phone, I'd take it out every day and wait till the light is just right to capture the difference of a heavily soiled carpet or upholstery.
I still take my camera out once in a while in the hope of catching a good photo. Most of them (thinking they were great at the time) are completely useless when viewed on the PC.

Realistically, you are not going to get "perfect" conditions unless you create them.
You either need studio lighting or "enhance" the shots in post production (Photoshop or the like).
The live footage in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiPQeHkOwxo
was shot in what can best be described as semi darkness.
The main adjustments done via the editing software was the white balance (really important for colour reproduction) and a general brightening of the footage (nearly all done on brightnesss rather than contrast).
One way or another, you are going to have to "fiddle" it.
