Recently gone over to me and a lad 2 days a week and water useage has increased ( obviously).

Never been an issue before but have run out of water a couple of times already (650 tank) by end of day.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me approx how much I might safe by fitting aqua adapters ?

yep, turn your flow down and have taps at the end of the hose .

cant say how much they save but they do certainly do the trick.
my lad uses one and cant work without 1 now.
i pinch the hose personally albeit both reels have seperate taps on.

before i put tha mk3 aquadaptor on we was really close to running out a few times, and thats with 900ltrs
i have the controllers set at 60 also.

2 men working all day at sensible ltr min will get thru serious amounts of water.

I have the mk2 and its the nutts at one stage i did take it off because i wanted to see if i would be quicker without the weight on the end of my pole

I used a tap on the hose instead of the extra weight at the brush end i lasted a day before the aqua-dapter went back on.

The mk3 is even lighter than the mk2 i will be getting a mk3 soon and keeping the mk2 as a spare.

My son found out the the aquadapter on his pole helped reduce his water useage with his backpack. I haven't got any figures, but he was very quick to come round and get a broken spring replaced the other day.

My suggestion is to do a visual method analysis. Watch yours and your employee's cleaning procedure and note if there are times the water was running and being wasted and how long it was being wasted.
What do you do if you come across stubborn bird muck on the window? Do you switch the water off or just let it run whilst you tip your brush on its side to scrap the muck with the edge of your brush?

I was never comfortable holding a tap in my hand so it would drag along the floor. As it was a pain to bend down and switch it off I didn't bother every time. I certainly didn't switch it off when I used the brush edge to scrape any bird muck off. The way I work is to do the tops first and then come back and do the bottoms. More often than not , I would let the water run while moving back to the first bottom window and when lowering my pole. For me that was where I save water with the Aquadapter. When I've finished the last brush of the cill, the hose is pulled and the water switched off. We now brush the cill off with the water off.

Once you start to employ (more straws in the proverbial glass) then you have to consider upgrading your water filtration and storage situation.
We have found that our 450GPD R/o isn't sufficient to keep up with 2 of us and a part timer. We process into an IBC tank. To get through the week I am filling my van fully (650l) on Saturday, and son's (500l) and with careful planning we just make it.

During a good week our R/O virtually runs constantly. We got an Aquadapter on each pole. I won't have spent money on 5 of them if they weren't worth it.

If you're emptying 650 litres a day on residential work then its nothing to do with aqua adapters. Your're working the lad to hard !!! I'll show him how to go home with half a tank, mind you, you mightn't be happy with the amount of work done , but you'll deffo save water !!

You cant go wrong with triggers in my opinion, there the king for domestics, no added weight to the pole and easier to use. We can still get through 650ltrs some days but the majority of the time were ok. Why not take out some 25ltr drums as well. I will sometimes take out an extra 150ltrs this way. Also your other option is to try fan jets, they use a very small amount of water.

Im over Flintshire way today if you want me to bring my brush head with fan jets over for you to have a go of Ian, you can use it for a few weeks, ill also bring one of my poles with the trigger on as well but you aint lending that haha

Customers report 20 - 30% savings over other methods (kinking the hose, inline taps, remotes etc.)

Of course, it depends on exactly how you use any water control device, it will only help if you find it quick and convenient to use.  The Aqua-dapter was invented for convenience rather than just saving water.

Personally I would hope to get similar water saving using either an Aqua-dapter or Trigger, it will be down to personal preference which of these methods you prefer.

Yep, I agree with Paul's statement, I didn't know wether to put 20, 30% was gonna say 25%.

I use freedom trolley left onboard withhose reel and was averaging 8x25 litre barrels, now averaging 6x25 ltr barrels; must say I also use fan jets from gardiners 40 degree, lemark (I think?).

Must say the fan jets were already saving me water; but the combination of fans and aqua-dapter is great.

You'l be glad you got an AD, plus give fans ago too!
